Dr. Patrick Costello, M.S., D.OT, OTR/L — known on this site as “Dr. C.” — is a licensed occupational therapist with more than 30 years of clinical experience across a broad range of settings, including teaching hospitals, rehabilitation centers, school systems, home health, long-term care, and outpatient practice. He has worked with individuals across the full lifespan presenting with physical, developmental, neurological, and sensory challenges.

His advanced clinical training includes physical agent modalities and sensory integration assessment. In addition to direct patient care, Dr. Costello conducts residential and commercial environmental assessments focused on improving sensory and physical accessibility — work that directly informs the practical, home-focused content on this site.

Dr. Costello is also a full-time university professor with more than 15 years of academic experience and peer-reviewed publications in the professional literature.
