Physical Therapy
Physical therapy (PT) helps people of all ages restore movement, reduce pain, and improve physical function following injury, illness, or surgery. Physical therapists address conditions affecting strength, balance, mobility, coordination, and endurance — working across settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, schools, and home health. Physical therapists hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree and are licensed in all 50 states. Physical therapist assistants (PTAs) hold an associate's or bachelor's degree and work under the supervision of a licensed PT.
